My grandson sometimes wears his pants down around his butt, you know, that sagging pants look requiring teenage boys to be constantly holding up their pants with one hand. I disapprove of whatever fashion statement he and other teenagers are trying to make.
But, man, I haven’t reached the point that I’d do what a dude in Memphis did.
Memphis Commercial Appeal story for October 4, relates how a man told two teenage boys, 16 and 17 years old to pull up their pants. As teens usual do, they not only ignored him that called him “Fat ass.”
On their way back from the story where they had gone to buy candy, the dude confronted them again. Only this time he had a gun in his hand. The kids took off running. The dude fired at them and hit the 17 year old in the buttocks.
I’m thinking that maybe if enough teenagers read the story, they’ll think twice bout them sagging pants. But then, on the other hand, some of them what are strapped just might shoot back.
